Today marks 150 years since the signing of Treaty 6. On Thursday, I was honoured to join the Treaty 6 150th Anniversary Powwow at Enoch Cree Nation to commemorate this important milestone and share my thoughts on reflection, resolve and reconciliACTION.

Was down at the bank trying to change my name. They required an enrolled deed poll, mine is unenrolled. Not even a driver's license in my now legal name held sway. So I asked to close my accounts, their reply? You can't, all your ID is in the wrong name! I'd advise not banking with the Halifax.

That’s exactly how #fascism works: first, the rights of “others” are sacrificed, supposedly for everyone’s safety and freedom. Once we accept that rights don’t apply to some, none of our rights are truly safe. ask the history!!
We're being told that if we sacrifice the rights of some people, then the rest of us get to keep our rights. We all know that's some BS.
The enforced belief that there are only two genders and that there are limited acceptable behaviors and opportunities for each of those genders is a stricter and far more harmful "gender ideology" than anything else having to do with gender. They don't see it that way, but it's true anyway.
