In case you‘re wondering about my new profile pic (I haven‘t posted in a while), last Friday after work, I took my pair of hair scissors and chopped a huge junk of my hair off because I‘ve had enough of it for a while now lol. I‘m feeling sooo much better now and I’m pleased with how it turned out

Finally had some clear sky again, so here's a few of my recent #astrophotography pics: The Eastern Veil Nebula, the double star clusters of NGC 869 and NGC 884, the Soul Nebula, and an attempt at getting both the Heart and Soul Nebulas in one frame. That one's not so great yet, needs more work.

One of the things that creeps me out in the way the tech bros talk about AGI is that they seem to *want* AI to be conscious *and* obedient, because it not being conscious seems unsatisfactory for their master/slave relationship.
