a couple of years ago I started an annual festival that pays for trans folks to put up their plays, comedy shows, weird clown fever dreams - and streams every show for free so folks can see themselves in media from anywhere they exist.
The point of legislated dehumanization is never just the law itself but the creation of a climate in which institutions become more timid and companies more cautious. Erasure of a people under capitalism arrives first as a thousand risk calculations.

Selfishly, I waited until I bought my own tickets to repost this. I've had the honor of performing with The Doubleclicks over the years as well as being a fan. Very excited to experience the old songs in a new time
