“Frankly, I don’t care” epitomises Luxon’s time as PM. #nzpol Some of the things Luxon doesn’t care about: Homelessness NZers dying in hospital while waiting to be seen. People dying on the streets in winter People starving People being made homeless by no cause evictions Pay equity Racism Lies

Part of a stuff headline that epitomises Luxon’s tenure as PM

Hey Bluesky New Zealand!! Can you help spread the message this weekend?! Yeah sure this is just one video, but so many people haven’t enrolled yet and don’t realise they are running out of time. Thank you! 🇳🇿

Labour calls for investigation into $40m school science kit contract

The House of Science had repeatedly lobbied the Education Minister for funding – but Erica Stanford insists it’s all above board.

The NZ Govt travels the world telling people how they take their climate commitments seriously. But at home they dismantle every policy that constrains emissions and subsidise more emissions. So we've joined international efforts to hold them to account. www.greenpeace.org/aotearoa/pre...

Greenpeace joins complaint to EU over NZ climate policy reversal - Greenpeace Aotearoa

The complaint addresses Government reversal of climate policies, which Greenpeace has labelled a 'race to the bottom on environmental regulation'.

The dumbass Govt has finally conceded it can't build an LNG import terminal and its dreams of a revival of fossil gas are dead. NZ wasted 3 years while this Govt delayed the transition off fossil gas, while telling the country a dangerous fossil gas fairy tale. www.greenpeace.org/aotearoa/sto...

Simeon Brown's disastrous decision to cancel the Gas Transition Plan (and buy a lotto ticket instead) - Greenpeace Aotearoa

New Zealand is in the middle of an energy transition

Groceries. Electricity. Gas. Banking. Insurance. Five sectors. All two-to-four players. All lobbied hard, disclosed poorly. Kiwis pay a higher share of income on food than most of the OECD. Both major parties propose supermarket fixes. Neither will touch lobbying disclosure. #nzpol

How NZ’s captured economy is eroding democracy & choking progress

Labour wants to structurally separate groceries duopoly; National wants to break up Foodstuffs; But will either actually happen? It’ll be hard without lobbyist & donor reform; NZ First loves vitamins

For those who have forgotten the past 40 years: Tax cuts for the rich ...don’t trickle down Boosting military spending ...doesn’t bring peace Slashing regulations ...doesn’t create jobs Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

Listen, they know there is no jobs, they love it when there are no jobs, it makes people desperate to keep the job they have. Desperate people can be exploited, desperate people wont complain about conditions, or ask for a pay increase. Desperate people mean more profits for their mates.

The absolute brass balls of TPU to complain about the cost of setting up Waikato Water when THEY WERE THE ONES CAMPAIGNING AGAINST 3 WATERS!!! 3 Waters was the cheaper, more cost effective option for councils and taxpayers, and TPU actively fomented and stirred up racial hate to get it ditched.
