There is no such thing as "cross sex hormones", its a TERFism. They tried to make it sound like 'cross dressing' to dogwhistle autogynephilia, and separate it out from what cis people enjoy throughout their lives as HRT. Its also a forced binary, because it suggests there are only 2 genders.
