There is a crisis in literacy in this country. It goes WAY beyond an entire generation that cannot read cursive. We have GENERATIONS of people that simple, on average, do not read. We need to make reading for pleasure a thing again. Fiction, non-fiction, classics and new, whatever. Just READ MORE.
Xena broke me today. I think I laughed for five solid minutes. This is a great victory for her as we usually guard the toilet paper carefully from her and her mother. She is very, very, proud of herself.
Sometimes People who have experienced extreme cruelty remember it, decide not to be cruel. I think being cruel is harder, personally. A lot of funny people, comedians, remember being hurt by people early on, and they become kind. I think knowing that hurt reminds people to not be a hurting type

I'm finally mostly recovered from abdominal surgery. I can eat normally and food doesn't hurt anymore. The recovery nurses triggered me badly but I filed a complaint and I feel a bit less pissed off about it, and somehow chocolate milkshakes have become a healing tonic. No art just rest for now. 🤘❤️

I've watched people try to get into MTG and have this problem. The cards that make you competitive are unaffordable a few days after they come out, and now the boosters get the same treatment so it becomes harder and harder to enjoy the game if you're broke. Scalpers are the lowest of the low.

Why isn't stuff like this taught in every single business school? We see time and time again, businesses utterly failing to learn from the mistakes of others & from the past, doing the same shit. This is especially true of "Venture Capital" buying out businesses. They destroy good things forever.
