So excited to have contributed to this work- we had lots of discussions about sodium channels and NMJ excitability during the second half of my PhD, and I’m glad that we have a community of excellent folks deepening our understanding of this part of neuromuscular synaptic signaling.

Delighted to see this paper finally published. New insights into the impact of aging on the human NMJ (hint: it’s NOT denervation!): JCI - Neuromuscular junction failure in sarcopenia is linked to NaV1.4 loss and reversed by ClC-1 inhibition www.jci.org/articles/vie...

Proud of our session at #AAIC25 yesterday, "Molecular Basis of Cognitive Resilience". 💜 We really are trying to bring the field together, and I think we did a great job! 👏🏻 Thank you to the audience for making the Q&A so stimulating. 🤩 If you missed it, the recording is available online.

It was nice to talk to middle-schoolers from Detroit and Ypsilanti about the brain and the importance of research at our annual #BrainsRule! event today. It felt especially important this year, and their eagerness to learn, energy, and laughter brought us all some much needed joy.
