Fun Facts: In addition to spraying a strong-smelling liquid, the zorilla can play dead as a secondary defense. It is not a skunk (Mephitidae), but rather belongs to the related mustelid family. They are closely related to grisons, which I posted about last time! #mustelid #weasel #ictonychinae
We picked up this play set last year when Aldi were selling them off cheap. We also picked up the blowup ball pit the same way. We remembered it today & set it up. The ferrets are having a lot fun with it.
We over did things at the weekend, & have triggered the Fibromyalgia quite badly. When I woke up this morning I could hardly walk to the bathroom, so when I got back, I laid back down on the bed, but fell back asleep. At some point Swizzels decided to join me, sleeping by my head, on my pillow.🥰❤️🐾

Princess Swizzels first outing to a vintage fair was to the Gloucestershire & Somerset Vintage Extravaganza last year, as a 14week old kit. Today she returned to meet her adoring fans, 1 year older, but just as cute.

Penny was such a good, brave girl at the vet yesterday. Turns out she has a knee injury, and for various Vet Reasons things like a splint or a cart are neither helpful nor practical, so her treatment plan is to get all doped up on gabapentin and lie around for a few days while it heals itself.
Thirsty Weasels stop by for a quick sip, paw wash & face splash... There are 2 weasels coming to drink at the moment - a smaller younger animal & a more adult mustelid. I've never seen them drink before... but the environment is so dry. Still loads of voles & mice around the #weedypond. #mustelids

As the sun was setting last night, we had some really light rain, barely enough for the drops to join together on the ground before evaporating again. But the Rainbow was fantastic, the pictures do not do it justice, & at one point there was avery clear double rainbow as weĺl.
She's very bored and has to poop but refuses to go on the puppy pad (she thinks it's a blanket)
