This is awesome. I did my MD/PhD at UW and can say that Dr. King is an inspiration and a force of nature. She was not a direct scientific mentor, but I can honestly say I continued doggedly on my career path in part because of her belief in me. If someone posts a link to the essay I’d be grateful.
