A perfect set up for beneficial rain & mountain snow Thursday through Saturday! Over 1" of rain is likely across eastern NM with 30-48 hours of steady rainfall. Lower rainfall amounts going west. Upslope flow along the Sangre de Cristo Mtns could produce over 12" of snow! #NMwx

So glad to have been a part of organizing UNM Psych Research Day! Our undergraduate lab members got to give their first poster presentations, I was awarded the Quad-L Master’s Award, and arguably most important of all, my team got 3rd place in trivia (…just pretend there weren’t only 4 teams).

It’s brutal in academia right now. A lot is out of our control, but it doesn’t cost anything to remember that there are humans behind papers and grants…reviewers, program officials and funders can be more empathetic in the face of unprecedented chaos in the US scientific enterprise.
