Our age rating system would protect children online and ban under 16s from harmful social media without a blanket ban. Our message to social media giants is clear: if your platform spreads harmful content or relies on addictive and algorithms, you should not be allowed anywhere near our kids.

While Trump is insulting our country and threatening our sovereignty, a state visit from our King should not be on the cards. The only people cheering it on seem to be Keir Starmer, Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage.

The government should summon the US Ambassador over Trump’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. This reckless plan will only escalate the crisis, risk collapsing the ceasefire, and mean more pain for British families and businesses already facing higher prices at the pump.

It’s clear we need a full statutory inquiry into Jeffrey Epstein’s ties with the British political establishment and the impact on his victims, including the disgraceful leaks from Peter Mandelson at the very top of government and the impact on national security.

Fantastic win in East Dunbartonshire, where we’ve beaten the Conservatives into 6th place. Right across the UK, former Conservative voters have heard Kemi Badenoch tell them loud and clear that they’re not welcome in her party – and are backing us instead.

We cannot trade away our political freedoms or our national security. Starmer must make that clear. Red lines mean nothing if we let China cross them.

Trump is acting like an international gangster. The Prime Minister has tried appeasing him for 12 months and has failed. It's time we finally stood up to him and united with our European allies to make him back down.

Just as films are rated according to their content, online platforms should be rated according to the risks they pose. Our message to social media giants is clear: if your platform spreads harmful content or relies on addictive and algorithms, you should not be allowed anywhere near our children.

The PM must tell Trump in no uncertain terms: if he goes ahead with these outrageous tariffs and continues to bully Greenland, there’ll be no state visit to the US in April. The UK must not be a doormat for an extortionist, or reward Trump’s behaviour with the pageantry he craves.
