I got to play a joyful game of Vast: The Crystal Caverns this afternoon. It was wonderful, the feedback was great, and the fellowship was outstanding. We were not rushed and able to savor the moments. Thanks to @lordoftheboard.bsky.social @jcw.gay @norsehound.bsky.social !
By far the game I saw at GenCon that I’m most excited about is @leder.games upcoming design from Alita Robertson called Kart. It looks beautiful, and the gameplay sounds smooth and fun. Was super cool to have Alita give me an overview.
And then out of nowhere you get to meet one of your boyhood heros. I played the hell out of Car Wars and OGRE as a kid.
When things succeed you celebrate it with the people you love. I am really honored to be among such great people as we move Leder Games into the future. Seeing their hard work pay off at Gen Con has been just lovely.
