Oh so the new sonic discord serve update, ALL channels are not read only with he exception being if you boost the server you get message perms. It's an extremely cheap and bad way to do message filtering given most people can't ever talk there until the mods calm down and open things up.

Honestly it's a comparatively little thing but I can't help wondering, why now? Like obviously I know partly (new series, author has famous friends) but what's the big force pushihg all this product placement recently? It comes across very much like a top down perscribed culture.

Since I clicked the link ten minutes ago, two THOUSAND more people joined. And it only has five channels to post in and four moderators.
