Humans and augmented humans can have null feed IDs. I knew from my shows that it meant different things depending on what polity, station, area, etc., they lived in. Here on Preservation it meant “please don’t interact with me.” It was perfect.
Just called the airport. They *think* my luggage has landed in Spain, but they're not quite sure. Other than that, today has been pretty terrific, here in Madrid!
Bought some non-alcoholic lager at Tesco last week and a staff member had to come over to make sure I was old enough.
Last year BA misplaced 3 cases on our vacation. I just got to Madrid and only brought one case. But yep -- they've misplaced that one, too. They hope it'll get to me by Thursday. (This, on top of missing an earlier flight due to too few staff at check-in.)
Woohooooo! No more VAT on domestic electricity! Now I just have to sit back and plan what I'm going to spend that extra £1.60 a week on!
Currently (involuntarily) flying with British Airways. The last time I flew with this bunch of cowboys their incompetence cost me around €400. Today's flights are underlining what charlatans they are. I'd generally rather swim than fly B.A., but sometimes it's sadly unavoidable.

Come back from the groomer with my dog, Ginny. Groomer took off *all* her beard instead of just some, showing that Ginny has absolutely zero chin. She looks like a hairier Andrew Tate. Ginny is a little bitch, too.

I reminded myself a combat bot wasn’t a human, it wasn’t a villain from one of my shows. It was a bot, and it wasn’t threatening us. It was just telling us what it was going to do.
Tomorrow we have our annual Taskmaster show. As I'm the Taskmaster the winner gets to take home this rather wonderful bust of my head. Someone is going to be a very lucky winner, indeed. I am very envious, even though I own the real head. (But the real head isn't gold, so there's that.) #cvg2026

Just finished my first panel of the convention... Musicals as Genre. Next, Opening Ceremonies, followed by Everything You Know About Publishing is Wrong. Five panels tomorrow, including Taskmaster (with time to meet authors and agents in between) and I should be able to go watch a few, too.
