Today is the last day of camp and I sent the kids to a Red Wizard enclave on a mission to spy on them and see what the Thayans are up to. But the kids don’t know it’s actually just a bunch of scam artists with no magical powers selling fake or useless magic items.

It almost feels like it’s a huge flaw in our governmental structure that the president is in charge of the apparatus that could investigate his own crimes.

Congress passed the Corporate Transparency Act. Trump vetoed it. Congress overrode his veto on a bipartisan vote. So Trump has decided to simply not enforce the law. I do not understand the role of Congress anymore. I guess they just make suggestions?

Had a wild character death happen at the table today. Last week of camp, kid playing a Wild Magic Sorcerer. He gets the WM surge where you have to roll for a surge at the start of every turn for the next minute. Combat ends, but we have to stay in rounds to resolve the remainder of these.

Children are asking questions so we have to remove all the trans people so children go back to their natural state of never asking questions.

One of my players was at a different DM’s table last week and that DM let him make a blood pact with one of the final monsters in this adventure. I decided to let it carry over. They’re fighting that monster now. It opened by casting a no-save Dominant Person on that character. 😈

Why is everything so transparently evil now?

Can anyone explain to me how this isn’t what they would have done anyway? Saying they’ll sell through their remaining stock of their collaboration designs for a collection they just launched sure just sounds like they’re gonna keep quietly selling licensed HP merch.
