wow -- a sister asks Vance how as a person of faith he can justify ICE's brutality. Vance responds by saying "we're trying to strike the right balance ... sometimes you have people that make mistakes"

Kansas hasn’t elected a Democratic U.S. senator since George McGill in 1932. He left office in 1939. Nearly a century later, Kansas has another choice. Put aside our differences, come together, and make your voice heard at the ballot box.🇺🇸

Ossoff: "Mike Collins is a known bigot under federal investigation for the illegal misuse of tax dollars, widely known for his poor character and low integrity and unfit for any elected office in the United States ... we'll end his political career"

Ossoff: "Foster kids don't have lobbyists or a super PAC. Neither do the women subjected to medical abuse in ICE detention. Neither do the female inmates sexually abused by the warden and the chaplain in their federal prison ... they deserve leaders who see them"

Survivors still wait for the transparency Congress promised as millions of Epstein documents are being withheld. These records may be critical to uncovering wrongdoing and holding people accountable under state law. spectrumlocalnews.com/mi/michigan/...

AG Nessel urges Congress to pass new Epstein files transparency law

We know that those in power are going to try and divide us and make us fearful. But in Milwaukee at #NoKings today, I saw so much hope. And when we turn that hope into action and get people out to vote, we the people WIN. bsky.app/profile/aft....

This #NoKings is all about getting people out to vote. 🗳️ Because in our democracy, if we the people come out and vote, we the people win! @rweingarten.bsky.social

X is owned by Musk. TikTok is blocking the Musk movie account. Meta blocked the No Kings account. This is why Democracy Docket is not built on SubStack or any third-party platform that could one day turn against it. It costs more to operate but is worth it. Subscribe now. demdock.com/4w6emld

Don't know if Trump or associates asked Zuckerberg to disrupt No Kings; or if Zuckerberg saw it as a chance to curry favor with Trump; or if Zuckerberg so believes in Trumpist authoritarianism that he decided to help out. But it's urgent to stop this from happening again--e.g., on election day.

Some content back up BUT NO administrative access for No Kings organizers Does Meta not think we are paying attention? Pro-democracy state AG's, legislatures & regulators should be all over investigating this--& so should a new pro-democracy Congress THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS

Trump buys Russian diesel → Putin sends missiles to Iran → U.S. soldiers get attacked. When you're working for a foreign adversary, Republicans let you do anything you want to the country. The pictures of Trump and Putin in the White House tell the whole story.

We're going to the Supreme Court to challenge the Trump administration's cruel and illegal policy subjecting millions of immigrants to mandatory detention. But Congress doesn't have to wait for a court ruling to act — tell them to pass the Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act.

End Mandatory Detention in ICE Custody

The Trump administration's new policy allows people in ICE custody to be detained for months or years with no chance to ask a judge for release. The ACLU is already challenging this cruel policy at the Supreme Court, but Congress can act now. Tell your members to pass the Dignity for Detained Immigrants Act to end this abuse of mandatory detention.
