My district in the city has cornfields, grain silos, and the state fair. It’s a wonderful and off district.
I love Minnesota more now than I could possibly imagine loving a place on a map. Anyone embarrassed by this love of neighbor should not represent us in the Senate.

Pigs Eye camp is being cleared by heavy machinery today. They have cordoned off one portion w police tape and will make their way across the camp throughout the day. There were 5 residents still in the camp when I left about 145 (Thursday). They were all packing. I believe they will be out today.
As St. Paul pushes forward with plans to clear encampments, I want to lift up the words of Rep. Finke. "Let us see our neighbors for who they are, see their needs as the same as our own and solve them hand in hand." We all deserve safe and healthy communities. Including our unhoused neighbors.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo did not deserve to die. There needs to be a full investigation into this killing, and ICE needs to be held accountable. This cannot keep happening.

Men like Platner are a dime-a-dozen. Charming and smart and capable on the mic, and also trash. It would behoove the progressive political class in this country to stop lining up behind men with so many red flags. We do not need more abusive men in politics. Stop making room for them.
It is statewide. Any event with 100 or more must provide water!
Dex Anderson@dexanderson.com · 2mo agoMinneapolis has a policy that any public event over a certain size *must* provided water stations for those who need it. I'd love to see more cities making policies like this to prevent dehydration and heat illness. It's a public health issue.
