I have one answer.

Interestingly, I remember the time when such things were the responsibility of the parents. IMO, every parent should be mad that this takes away their parental rights to raise their own kids without government interference.

Speaking as a parent: age verification laws infuriate me, because corporate compliance just results in everything being age-gated which prevents kids from engaging meaningfully with adults, which is a bad thing because the goal of a parent is to teach your kids how to be adults

This was wielded at me and others in the Democratic primary here in Memphis earlier this year, and even right now "Progressives take on the center -- but can they win?" etc.

There is pervasive corruption across our healthcare and agricultural systems that defy party lines. I meet with MAHA activists because a lot of their concerns are bipartisan issues that major corporations paint as partisan. The fight isn't left and right, it's top and bottom.
