Lesley Hughes@lesleypresley.bsky.social · last mo.As I can’t see it being feasible that Fallon or Harrison remain in the marital home in the longer term it would have to go on the market. It would upset the (cider) apple cart if Amber’s dad bought Fallon and Harrison’s cottage for Amber and George. #TheArchers

What is a Rube Goldberg machine and why is it so fascinating?
One of the most heartbreaking things in social work is when brothers and sisters are placed separately as there isn’t an alternative. They are your longest relationships and know your history. I’m so glad this is happening and I hope it’s successful.
Christopher Webb@cwebbonline.com · 4w agoI absolutely LOVE this. Christian Bale spent roughly 17 years fighting to make this happen. This week, his foster-care village opened in Palmdale, California: 12 homes built specifically to help keep siblings together when they enter foster care.

In an alternate universe I’d be listening to a podcast about Dolly with contributions from @andrewhickey.500songs.com and @tylermahancoe.bsky.social and it would be glorious and so rich in detail about this wonderful person’s life.
Hearing such sad news about Dolly I am reminded of the great podcast Dolly Parton’s America from Radiolab. I’ll probably listen again. Rest in power lovely. 😢

The MSM completely missed the gravity of last night's Ukrainian missile strike on the Progress Rocket Center in Samara, Russia. This isn't just another industrial fire. This is the definitive end of independent Russian space dominance and a massive blow to their national pride. 1/5
