When you see something without context, a headline or a snippet of a quote, take a deep breath and look into it to see if you really should be upset. Please protect your hearts.

As much as I criticize social media, one thing I do appreciate about it is how it lets people be freely creative. I enjoy seeing the random art that shows up in my timeline and I appreciate the YouTubers I've followed for years who are still putting out quality videos.
the world would be a better place if people would admit that something just isn't their thing instead of openly shitting on and condemning an entire genre just because they personally don't like it
I cannot express enough how lucky I am to have friends that pull me out of suicidal crashouts and heavy self isolation without them even realizing they're doing it. It's small things like "lets hang out in vc, I want to watch you play games" that have saved my life more times than they think
A lesson that I really wish more people on social media would learn is that social media is not real life. Getting likes on social media is no guarantee of success offline, and likewise, hatedoms do not have an impact in the real world.
