#OME2026 is coming to an end. It has been a truly welcoming, motivating, and inspiring experience full of intensive exchange and shaped by an exceptionally open and collaborative spirit. Grateful for the many insightful discussions, new connections, and shared ideas. Thank you!

Day 1 at #OME2026 is coming to an end with stimulating discussions during the poster session. It's been a wonderful first conference day. Looking forward to tomorrow with highlights including workshops and our keynote speaker Carole Goble. Stay tuned.

A significant moment at #OME2026: Thanking Prof. Jason Swedlow, the founder of OME, who shaped this remarkable community work since the beginning of the millenium. His work & leadership were honored - even with a nod to his famous blue shirts by OME's Interim Board, nominated by Jason in Oct '25.

Kiya Govek from The Jackson Laboratory gave the inspiring opening lecture at the #OME2026 meeting, bringing us the community contributor perspective based on her online community survey. Next up: An Update from the OME Ecosystem

Day 2 of #Zidas2025 is happening! After a lecture from @ahklemm.bsky.social, it's now time for hands on with @ilastik-team.bsky.social by @benediktbest.bsky.social from Anna Kreshuk's lab and some tracking in the afternoon with #Trackmate from @jytinevez.bsky.social !

And we're ON! #Zidas2025 has officially started at the @biozentrum.unibas.ch, and the first day is introduction to image formation by Arne Seitz, Fiji by Joana Delgado Martins and Fiji scripting by me !

I couldn't find a napari plug-in to open all file formats using Bioio. So I made one : pypi.org/project/napa... Feel free to use it and suggest improvements 🎉

#BIAToolTip No.15 On Windows there is the ColourSimulator App which allows you to simulate on your screen with a slidable window to inspect design or images to check if those are inclusive for color deficient vision. The #biovoxxel LUT Channels Tool provides a related functionality.
