Just had the horrifying thought of how many fringe shows will need ten mins at the start on how London is warmer than Edinburgh. Even here, in 18 degrees, London's weather is somehow still going to get me.

There are no un-tasty books, simply badly cooked books
cowards, tell me about the tastiest book you have ever eaten
I know this won't happen but imagine if someone wrote an honest, impartial obituary of Rod Liddle. From CND and the Labour Party to his time at R4 and Gilligan, winning awards for exposing the sale of landmines, to being arrested for attacking his pregnant partner and the weird, creepy columns.
Very last chance to join my wee but mighty external affairs team at Rape Crisis Scotland. Applications for part-time Policy Worker role close tomorrow. Details here: goodmoves.org/vacancy/a4sP...
My partner and I have decided to get married and I've put our two year old in charge of planning. So far she has approached every adult at her nursery to tell them about the wedding and that they will not be allowed to come, declared the theme to be 'scarecrow', and invited 60 large, wild geese.
Eddie Howe?? The real question is Eddie Whoe, Whate, Whene and Whye
Extraordinary Extensions with Tinie Tempah. Are we living in an Alan Partridge sketch come true?

I honestly don't have an opinion on this but it will be so funny if Anas Sarwar quitting parliament means Monica Lennon taking his seat, winning a leadership contest and establishing a separate Scottish Labour party.
If support for devolution means anything it's the leader of a national political party quitting to get a junior job in central government and viewing it as a promotion
Man Scottish Labour just don't care about winning elections at all. You've got respect it i guess. I mean I don't care about winning an election either but that's why I never became a political party.
BREAKING: Anas Sarwar set to resign as Scottish Labour leader to join Andy Burnham's government 👉 www.heraldscotland.com/news...
If Andy Burnham wants to end rough sleeping he will need to change his approach to No Recourse to Public Funds, which enforces destitution, and is the single biggest cause of rough sleeping (in Scotland, anyway). But that would seem at odds with his support for the asylum bill last week.

Always blows my mind that T-Rex is closer in time to the iPad than it is to Stegosaurus
With a T-rex skeleton selling for $50m at auction on Tuesday, our poll shows that the Tyrannosaurus Rex is Brits' top dinosaur, with 30% listing it as their favourite T-rex: favourite of 30% of dinosseurs Stegosaurus: 12% Triceratops: 11% Diplodocus: 10% Velociraptor: 7% yougov.com/en-gb/articl...
For the record, I never cheer on the opposition to England. I watch all England games in the appropriate manner - in respectful silence. My head bowed, my cap pressed against my chest, respecting your grief at this awful, awful time.
Just to let you know, my plan tonight is to do a load of posts supporting Argentina based on the history of the Malvinas/Falklands, but littered with factual/historical inaccuracies. You will all feel compelled to respond, despite knowing what i am up to. I'm like a Bond Villain, explaining my plan.
The top story on the BBC Scotland site. Moron that as we have it.
binface vs farage vs lawrence fox is like el classico for “different ways your mate’s dad could end up taking the divorce”
It's ironic given Nigel Farage looks and acts like a man who could offer you a range of stolen watches hanging from the insides of his coat
Nigel Farage has just claimed that men in London are too afraid to wear watches in public, which is just transparently nonsense
I don't know why you guys spend so much time demanding other people 'hold your beer'. Just use a table you entitled fucks.
Modern-day Brazil wearing that yellow shirt like Heidi, Amelle and Jade going by the name Sugababes
Saw this ad for a goat on Facebook. It’s perhaps the greatest advert I’ve ever read. It’s just superb.
I supported the expanded world cup format but it's incredibly frustrating to watch the weaker teams just sit back and hope to soak up pressure. Ok England are losing but would it kill them to try and come out and play?
Shaking my head sadly at this development, while googling if they could support my weight should I choose to ride one down the street like a little horse.
Humans should not be forced off pavements by delivery robots, but that's exactly what's happening. The people who pay the price are those with the least room to give it up.
Disappointed to open this and learn the wee boy is in fact a man in his 60s. I mean, I know he said it but i feel like the BBC could have done more to challenge his claim.
Watch Scotland’s national poet, Makar Dr Pàdraig MacAoidh read his poem for @parliament.scot, 'Let This Hall Be Full of Noises', in Gàidhlig with an English translation at the opening ceremony at Holyrood today 👇👏 It's apt. Plus, I like his taste in music! www.scottishparliament.tv/meeting/open...
