The Mayor's proposals shows our legal challenge is working, but this three-tier system for affordable housing is unfair. Under this plan, Lewisham residents are being told they don't deserve as much affordable housing as neighbouring boroughs. This won't fix the housing crisis.

It is clearly a desperate move ahead of a local election round where their canvassers are hearing time and again about Green ideas like rent controls. Can absolutely predict this idea will evaporate in the first post-election cabinet meeting.
