Look at this beautiful book! STAR WARS: PRINCESS OF THE REBELLION written by the one and only Claudia Gray with a stunning cover by Zoë van Dijk comes to a galaxy near you on May 4th, 2027. It's a perfect way to celebrate the 50th!

On the new Leia book: not posting soon, but I just think Alderaanian diaspora revenge politics would be messy and I think Ben would be pretty fucked up by that environment on top of everything else and I sure would like to read some fic about it

I've been reading (and writing!) a lot of short Weird Fiction lately and at least once a day on this site I read a brilliant surreal opening and click for more only to realize it's hype from a CEO

9 movies that shaped who I am Teen me was confused about why I couldn't get into Austen or romcoms and I'd like to thank my local rental place's shelf of queer & freaky romances for helping me out

I don't have anything to offer, but I'm back here updating my follow list after YEARS for the TLH content and I keep writing Reylo snippets and I'm happy to see sequel shipping (and all you fine people) alive and well!

I'm seeing people deciding to let their season passes to Disney's theme parks lapse, which might be the thing that ultimately gets the company to regain its spine

Star wars fan problems: Andor is SO GOOD I want to watch every analysis video I can get my hands on, but it's hard to tell from a thumbnail who's decent, who's progressive but sexist, and who's an outright fascist that will corrupt my algorithm for all eternity if I accidentally click that video.

R1 bonus tragedy: Knowing Eadu was looking at Kalkite alternatives means that either Galen Erso's scientific failure led to atrocity, or he deliberately sabotaged the science to slow down the Death Star, sacrificing 800K people to save billions. Imagine him watching Ghorman either way.

Spoiler-free Andor thoughts: I really appreciate how this show broadcasts *exactly* where it's going in ways that highlight the difference between the empty surprise of a twist and the slow-motion shock of watching something you know is coming, but can't stop. It captures the feeling of this moment.

"The curriculum will no longer cover Order 66, when the Jedi Council misinterpreted a prophecy, chose the wrong chosen one, and allowed the Sith to infiltrate our ranks, which culminated in Anakin Skywalker murdering the younglings and then proceeding to enslave the entire galaxy."
