ELABORATION: ~12 Terabytes of a Steam2 content server were just leaked. This is the old system Valve used prior Steampipe, meaning nothing in the leak is from after 2013. Inside this content server is the relevant files for about ~20 pre-release Portal 2 Builds. (Cont. in replies!) ⬇️

-IMPORTANT- Gumroad has recently updated their website with the intention of phasing out the ability to manually edit your storefront and allowing you to only edit your storefront via AI agents. I will be dropping gumroad support entirely in the near future. More to come as I sort things out.

this is a real bummer to see from someone i looked up to, and what a rancid take it is. the stuff on our site was not "free", that's all hard work people had to put in to discover *and document* it. and hosting it sure isn't free!

They want content for free, but they don't want to share it. I shouldn't have said "dislike TCRF" as it implies I have something against the site itself; I don't. I'm just not fond of some of the recent choices they made.

Saber finally added the AI disclosure to Steam for Rideshare “Stimulator” and it’s even worse than I said it was. I can see why the CEO crashed out when I pointed it out.

Al Generated Content Disclosure The developers describe how their game uses Al Generated Content like this: The main Campaign story, characters, and dialogue are written by a team of human writers. Al tools are used for voice generation and some localization. The optional Free Ride mode includes Al-generated passenger missions and localized dialogue. Free Ride mode is separate from the main Campaign and can be skipped by players who prefer to experience only human-written narrative content. The game also includes a mix of radio stations featuring human-made music and Al-generated music. Stations containing Al-generated music are clearly labeled as such in the game.

honestly if your game is a pure or heavily focused coop experience then you MUST offer an option for friends/others to play it for free instead of having to buy it themselves whether that's through a "friends pass" like with Josef Fares' games, or selling extra copies in a discounted bundle

Why does this happen in every autocomplete search/filter??? And how is this not seen as a problem??? If I'm in a rush and want to launch Affinity Photo, I might type one letter too many before I hit enter and the selection will have changed from what I last perceived it to be. THIS IS BAD.
