Let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

Between not really caring to give up space or being able to justify the expense of getting an amp, the bass that I bought decades ago has been sitting in its bag because I couldn't bring myself to get rid of it. When I moved into this place I decided to hang it on the wall as a prompt.

Bill McDermott: The secular tailwinds of digital transformation, cloud computing, and business model innovation have all intersected at the perfect moment in time. Me, a native English speaker: No shit, huh? That's great, Bill. I'm happy for you. And maybe us? Or should I be worried?

Sometimes you love an artist’s work and then they go do other stuff but you don’t get shitty about because you’re happy they feel free to pursue their thing and you’re grateful they ever made stuff you liked. And then they return to doing the stuff you like. That is some great feeling.

So grateful for the ability to mute a word/phrase for 24 hours. Everyone really needs to quote tweet their disdain for that simpleton and I'm just tired of seeing her face. Good thing I'm not flying any time soon, I guess.

i remember in 2000, talking with a friend about what i envisioned the Internet being in 10 years, and my prediction was "web sites that load INSTANTLY. like 1 millisecond of loading time. text AND images. full page. bam, right there." and now news sites take like 20 seconds to load 15 TB of ads

Mr and Mrs Smith- this was a work Christmas party thing and I think we bailed after 15 minutes. Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice- Some vendor event. Halfway through I got a call about a user opening a questionable attachment. Could've passed it along, but I was happy to leave.

It's good that this developer put this warning at the beginning of the trailer, but I don't understand being so committed to whatever the thing is that you'd rather put in a warning than just not choose to make your game do that.

I upped the weight and went to curls and military presses, alternating hourly. Figured I'd check to see how my dominant right compared and lol. I'm easily knocking out like 30 reps with my left before my watch buzzes. My right arm is pooped at 20. Crabbing is underway.

When my watch says to stand up I pick up the weights by my desk and do reverse wrist curls until it decides that I have stood up. I do this because 1. Fuck you, I just walked to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee and you didn't detect that so it's okay to lie to you. 2. Gonna be a fiddler crab man.🦀

I will be, from this point forward, known as “THE GUARDIAN OF DRIVE THRU LINE AT THE DAIQUIRI PLACE AROUND THE CORNER," but as such, and as a matter of FAIRNESS, will be reimbursed, at the rate of the first sip of all daiquiris purchased.

There’s this mix of “Never Tear Us Apart” that has an extended opening where the string phrase gets repeated a few bars which would be fine, but there’s this weird elision on the loop which is kind of gross. I wonder why it’s there. Was it ten seconds too long and that was the solution?
