Multiple states are very eager to share Medicaid, SNAP, and other data with the feds and third parties to achieve their aims of harassing immigrants who are minding their own business.

Back when I worked for a Medicaid call center, you would get fired on the spot if you looked up anyone but the people you were helping. Even looking up yourself or your family would get you the boot. And these guys just passed that data off to their friends like NBD.
