Arresting people for saying words that contain no slurs or derogatory language because the leadership of a nation that is committing a genocide and has way too much influence on policy takes offence shows Australia is sliding into decay.

Indeed. "Sorry, ma'am, that you are in a physically threatening situation with a man, but all our units are currently busy arresting non-violent folk talking about a river."

Iran calling the Israel/US attacks "Operation Epic Mistake" is class 1 trolling.
Crockett: "You only love enforcement when they're going after Black, brown, immigrants, that kind of folk. But on January 6, you didn't care about law enforcement."
Netanyahu being on Trump's so-called "Board of Peace" is a very good reason for Albanese to have nothing to do with it. What a disgusting genocide-washing sham.
If your peace plan includes Vladimir Putin and excludes actual allies, it’s not peace. It’s submission.
You don't often see Auroras in NSW, so when you do, that's a big geomagnetic storm. Invergowrie NSW.
They're investigating the victim's wife, the victim's friends, the mayor and the governor too, but no, they're not even going to glance in the direction of the murderer.

Criticising Israel isn't antisemitism. Conflating criticism of Zionism with antisemitism while killing Palestinians and illegally occupying their land is the crime here. There are plenty of Jewish people who recognise that injustice, and those who stand up for peace are heroes.
Antisemitic attacks are bad. Anti-Muslim attacks are just as bad. Why the concentration on one and not the other if not for racism? Because unless both (and all forms of racism) are addressed equally there is going to be a feeling of victimisation which will simply fuel further division.
AOC: I want to remind you where the real crime is. It's in the oligarchs taking $170 billion of our money from health care and food assistance and public programs and taking that and funneling it into a secret police program.
Four days to go to release Epstein files. Which means he’ll go to war with Venezuela in the next three days.
Netanyahu does for antisemitism what Colonel Sanders does for chicken sales. The attack at Bondi beach was despicable. The October 7 Attacks were despicable. The genocide of Palestinians by the IDF under Netanyahu and his predecessors is despicable. Those three things are not mutually exclusive.
The government has to step up to the plate and give free counseling to anyone who was present at the Bondi Shooting. Therapy within days will reduce the severity of PTSD .
