🎉 1 week until #TPS40! In just a week, we'll be in Boston celebrating 40 years of The Protein Society with science, award lectures, workshops, and more. Check out the Schedule at a Glance, then plan your week with the full daily program: www.proteinsociety.org/daily-progra... See you in Boston!

What an honor to be recognized by @proteinsociety.bsky.social! I share this with the remarkable group of trainees that have bought into my vision of discovering and designing protein functions at scale, all to directly impact human health. Can't wait to share our work in Boston!

🔬 Laura Dassama – Young Investigator Award Congrats to Laura Dassama (Stanford University)! Her work tackles bacterial multidrug resistance through innovative protein studies. 🎤 Speaking at PS40 in Boston! #YoungInvestigator #ProteinScience #PS40

I ran out of space and there are too many stars to list... Mi Hee Lim, Allie Obermeyer, Chu Wang.... read the website and tag people here if they are on bluesky. I can't wait to attend. If you have never been, Heidelberg in September is lovely. Come hang out and send your students and postdocs!

The Dassama group uses detailed understanding of factors that enable interactions between biological molecules to provide insights that allow functional control of those molecules. Applications include host-microbe interactions and targeted control of disease-relevant proteins.
