The computer is the people's instrument, recording live music is significantly more expensive and requires a lot more equipment, sound treatment and just as much engineering and sound design knowledge!
Performing live music is equally as complex / expensive, traveling with musical gear or sourcing rentals is expensive! Live mixing has a lot longer setups up and tear down time and is a lot more complex to manage than a DJ board or laptop stereo out.
That being said there are SO MANY great rock, pop, hip hop and even classical musicians in the fandom! It's absolutely worth the time and setup. We need more spaces and events for furry bands and performers, but tap into what we got now!!
