Friday picket at the Royal Sonesta Boston, where workers are asking the company for a fair process to decide on a union, without fear of harassment, intimidation, or retaliation. "Sonesta should show us the same respect we show its guests,” said Neida, a Room Attendant.

In 2024, Boston hotel workers’ strikes led to historic contracts that saw wages grow to meet the rising cost of living. Aramark workers at Fenway also won substantial raises after striking last year. Will Encore Boston Harbor step up & pay their workers the wages they deserve?

On July 4th, as the country celebrated its 250th birthday, Hyatt Regency Cambridge workers leafletted outside the property. The hotel workers are asking customers, companies, & the community not to eat, sleep, or meet in the hotel until they have a fair process to decide on unionization.

Correct. Late Dad went on strike with @local26-unitehere.bsky.social several years ago to fix the Marriott contract, and if it wasn't for the strike fund, we wouldn't have had electricity. Strike funds are important, and for a general strike, even more critically so. Donate when possible.

'26 Strong! Last month Hyatt Regency Cambridge workers launched a boycott of the hotel, asking folks not to eat, meet, or sleep at the property until Hyatt's owner KSL agrees to a fair process for workers to decide on unionization. Thank you Councilor Marc McGovern for supporting the workers!
