This is some Orwellian fucking shit. The article focuses almost exclusively on an influencer's lost rolls and ellides the fact they went missing because ICE snatched the driver. No mention of if the driver is alive, in the country, wrongfully detained or anything. But lots of quotes about pastries!

Never underestimate the power of leaving positively unhinged comments on an author's work. It's what we live for.
I'm already at max capacity for outrage today so I don't quite have the vinegar this deserves But if this continues and spreads, this will take away the rights of an entire generation of children, stop them from using the library altogether, and ultimately destroy public libraries.
