Family goes to court to sign self deportation papers—ICE oppose it and detain both parents instead. Mother and father now locked up miles away in different detention centers—separated from all 3 of their children. Parents are scheduled to be deported—status of their kids is unclear.

ICE refuse to let mother see daughter in detention center—unless she stops protesting. Daughter is a legal resident in U.S. with valid DACA status. Agents barge in front door—injure her during arrest. No warrant shown to enter home—man's name they had didn't even live there.

Since she’s a citizen, I hope that this gets picked up and turned into a multimillion dollar lawsuit (or multiple such lawsuits) that takes care of her for life. That’ll require people to step up and fund the effort at the start though. She’s entitled to stay here, to access care, and for benefits.

This happened in Laredo, Texas. The school would not let this kid celebrate and be a part of their own graduation, forcing him and his family to sit in a library while the other students cheered from down the hall. Despicable. Morally BANKRUPT.

Update—ICE confirms they unlawfully detained 19 year old U.S. citizen. Agents gave him a concussion—he needed 7 stitches to stop the bleeding in his head. Dropped him off miles from his home—in a part of New York he did not know. Lead agent shrugged saying it was a "mix-up."
