I don’t know one single sane person who would answer a poll. They either read as scams or are annoying. 🤷♀️

Jonathon Booth@jboothhistory.bsky.social · 3d agoA good friend of mine was a pulmonary ICU nurse in Brooklyn and the thing that made me realize how bad things were gonna get were her instagram stories that went from "wash your hands guys!" to "I saw three people die today" in like a week.
we had an entire ICU team that was dedicated to flipping patients onto their bellies to give them a last shot at oxygenating before their inevitable deaths, but ok

Kirk Rudell@rudell.bsky.social · 3d agoShouldn’t be shocked at any lie RFK Jr tells, but he whined to Dana Bash that businesses were shut down during the pandemic “with no just compensation.” There was an almost trillion dollar PPP loan program, and his organization got millions from it, none of it paid back, to make payroll.
This is bullshit, and if Cornyn and Tillis say this is enough, their earlier claimed concerns were also bullshit.

I once had a longtime criminal defense attorney tell me he felt guilty people often said “there’s no way this could have happened because of X, Y and Z,” instead of ”this did not happen because I did not do it.”
