just wanted to say an enormous thank you for all the love on my ceramics shop launch yesterday, i’m sold out of everything except for some chopstick rests 🥺 i’m insanely grateful for the support and encouragement to keep exploring ceramics and sharing my work with you all!! 🫶🏻💕

a photo of a set of 5 ceramic flower-shaped chopstick rests. the flowers are made from brown speckled clay, have a wax-resist center of raw clay, and are glazed with a brown glaze. a pair of wooden chopsticks and a spoon rest on two of the flowers.

i am SO excited to be teaching a botanical watercolor course through the new jersey native plant society this spring!! there are still some spots left, and i’d love for you to join me if you’re a NPS member ☘️💚

sorry for the ceramics spam lol i decided i was ready to launch my pottery shop kinda last minute!! i’ll be sharing the link tomorrow when it launches at noon :’) i’m really excited to start selling some of my ceramic work so i can keep taking classes at my local studio 🫶🏻

i’m excited to share that i’m launching my ceramics shop tomorrow 2/14 at 12pm EST!! ✨ i’ve really loved making little vases lately, here are some of my favorites that’ll be available ☘️

a photo of a variety of hand-made ceramic vases. the vases range from two inches to about four inches tall, and made from white speckled clay. most of the vases are glazed with blue-green glaze.

a little evolution of acorn jars 🤎 this ceramics class session i learned how to make lidded forms, and i’m on a quest to making the perfect acorn jar to stash my acorn collection in :^) the tiny pinch pot was the first, the one on the left was the second, and the right was my most recent attempt! 🍂

a photo of a trio of differently sized, shaped, and glazed acorn jars. in the front, there is a small pinch pot acorn jar with an ancient copper glaze body and matte black glaze for the cap. behind and to the left, there is a larger, wheel-thrown acorn jar with an ancient copper glazed body and textured brown lid. to the right, there is a wheel-thrown acorn jar with a warm brown speckled body and brown textured carved lid.

took most of january to rest and recover from major burnout / a chronic illness flare up caused by the holidays, and im SO glad i did u_u this month i focused on spending time with loved ones, experimenting in the ceramics studio, playing video games, and most importantly, *not drawing*!

I've downloaded & re-uploaded (in a trimmed fashion to fit in the 1 minute limit) the video from X to ensure that it will continue to be available (& ensure that people have an easier time experiencing how awful this truly is).

i just opened a second round of pre-orders for my calendars since the first batch sold out! the next batch is estimated to ship in early january 2025 :^) thank you so very much for all of the love on these calendars, the first batch of pre-orders will be fulfilled over the next few weeks 🧡

a photo of me holding up a calendar, which has a cropped-in illustration of round lobed hepatica flowers and a spring azure butterfly on the cover. the text on the front of the calendar reads “spring ephemerals 2025 calendar”.
