GOOD NEWS! A new cancer treatment has demonstrated unprecedented results in a large trial for cancer patients whose disease has become resistant to chemotherapy AND immunotherapy. Tumors shrank in OVER a third of participants, with 15 patients experiencing COMPLETE eradication of their tumors.

I've been thinking for a while now how the wyverns in my stories would use biopolymers/gels in all sorts of ways, tissue repair being one of them. It's so cool seeing people much smarter than me actually make them in the real world.

I can hear the venomous “Time to get a REAL job” comments just reading this. People hate artists for following the kind of dreams they themselves gave up on. We are devalued by those that wish they could do what we do. They want to drag us down to their level, where “reality” exists.

Seeing every small business, be it a local restaurant, a moving company, whatever, all having AI logos and AI ads, really puts into perspective just how many artists are out of jobs now. All those little sustaining jobs where someone just needed a quick thing for $50 to $200 are just gone.

The intention behind the books' destruction is so that competitors won't be able to use the rich harvest of pre-AI-adulterated text. That is worth its weight in gold to these companies.

No longer content with pillaging intellectual work and dismembering our environment (already critically weakened), AI companies are now hellbent on destroying books galore including rare editions. Shut down these nefarious enterprises already.
