I always say I have so much fun chatting with the fine media savvy folk at Media/Lit, but this was a whole other level of fun! Collaborating, competitively, to draft a list of characters with the biggest story impact was a delight. Drama! Heartbreak! Consensus! It had everything. #Xmen97 #Xmen

We are back with @lostcadence.bsky.social to reflect on X-Men '97 Season Two and rank the mutants that have made the biggest mark on this revival series so far. Sound off and let us know if we got it right! #XMen97 📺 @kris-ingersoll.bsky.social

i believe that the the entire "binge watch" model of releasing television series is based on a faulty premise, and that faulty premise has significantly devaluated television as an art form. stick with me on this one...

Ahead of S2, I stand by the idea that #Xmen97 is one of the most thought-provoking shows in recent memory. It was an absolute delight to discuss S1 with the folks at Meda/Lit - from the silliness of an X-Men Roadtrip Character Draft to the seriousness of Mutant Genocide tied to real-world politics!

The FCC demanding early renewal hearings for 8 stations (all owned by ABC) over late night jokes is by far the most extreme instance of government overreach & attempt of censorship in US media history that I know of! While the actual licenses will almost certainly be renewed (it'll take years), (5/)

The people who spent years defending and even lionizing Kyle Rittenhouse and Ashli Babbitt now want us to believe that an unarmed mother in her car and a disarmed nurse were domestic terrorists who deserved to be murdered by law enforcement.
