Tokyo-based human. I like old music and movies. Also, games. I suffer from chronic pain, so I might be whiney sometimes.

I've given the new Charli XCX several chances and each time I forget I'm listening to it halfway though, which is really bad considering it's only 30 minutes long. Really feels like a bunch of half-finished ideas and verses without choruses. Don't get why she bothered with it.

I know not everyone likes it when I share how AI is helping me with my medical issues, but I found another use case that I want to share. I'm starting benzo tapering today, which can be really scary. So I asked an AI to find only good, positive stories and tips on reddit.

I wanna use this to go on a bit of a rant, I was going to blog about this, but no one reads blogs, so here's a thread about how I use AI and how I understand his "dopamine" comment. And how I think A LOT of you are in an anti-AI bubble and you just don't understand how prevalent this is becoming.

YouTuber Hank Green Admits He Has Unhealthy Relationship With AI After Facing Backlash Over Recent Video 'The level of dopamine I've been getting from interacting with LLMs is not healthy for me,' said Green

Nearly three weeks of my biggest pain issue more or less solved. I'm supposed to feel a litany of side effects from this med, but they haven't hit yet and honestly the effect of getting a solid night's sleep at least 5 nights a week now might be overpowering any negative effect. Woot.

The mere moment you even mention unironically wanting to put on a Donkey Kong onesie to ride through the streets of Shibuya in a go-kart, secret police should emerge from all corners to tackle you and send you back home.

The Japanese government is making everyone's lives worse except for the one group that truly needs to be Detained And Deported: tourists who go on those fake-ass "Mario Kart" rides in the middle of the city.
