Never continues to amaze me how I manage to find corner cases of major projects a decade plus into their existence 😭 Today: serving static assets of a Next.js app from an external CDN and instantiating a Web Worker straight up doesn't work. v16.1 it mangles the URL, v16.2 it's a SecurityError. Fml

@juri.dev is there some way to search the logs for an @nx.dev continuous task, aside from copy and pasting the entire TUI output into a separate file and searching? Or, is there a way to tail the output for a task(s) to a file? There's the MCP server, but is there a simpler way to see/query logs?

@juri.dev I'm curious, with the TS Go future how has that changed the @nx.dev team's thinking for TS monorepo setups? You think package manager + references setup is still the best default, or single project + path aliases and adopt references as needed?

@juri.dev another question when using the new @nx.dev TS setup. I have Node.js apps built using the esbuild executor, using the generatePackageJson option to install only that app's deps in prod. With the new setup there's an error about that option being unsupported 🫤 What's a viable alternative?

Shout-out to everyone else who hit the gym Monday and proceeded to overdo the weights after not working out for a while, and is waking up today cripplingly sore. Raise your hand if you, too, can barely raise your hand today! 🙃 Nice job, keep it up 👏 #NewYearsResolutions

New cultural milestone for VR — an artist-designed immersive experience was used to illustrate a defense expert’s opinion, the first time VR has been used in US courts. The same defense attorney was also the first to use computer animated evidence back in 1992! www.local10.com/news/local/2...

Broward judge dons virtual reality headset in what’s thought to be a courtroom first

At a stand-your-ground hearing on Tuesday, Broward County Judge Andrew Siegel experienced a unique approach to understanding a defense expert’s opinion: He used a virtual reality headset. It’s believe...

I'm surprised this bug made it past the betas, I just upgraded my MBP and Vision Pro to the latest and it's still here. The Vision Pro is listed twice in the Screen Mirroring menu, and hovering one of them shows the hover effect on both of them 🤔

After wearing the Annapro 2 strap daily for a few weeks I take it back. It's more comfortable for the first 5-10 minutes, but then I find it very uncomfortable. The pressure on top of my head becomes much more painful than the pressure on my face when using just the solo knit strap.

And thankfully my Annapro 2 strap also came in Monday, and boy is it wicked comfortable. Night and day difference in the comfort of the device. And no more VR face! Highly recommend. The thinnest, 5mm cushion is the most comfortable for me. bsky.app/profile/lou....

First everyone assumed I was as a billionaire crypto fraudster because I'm an MIT c/o 2014 software engineer. Now people are saying I, too, must be a folk hero vigilante as a handsome Italian American software engineer. Where will the gross stereotypes end?!?

Traveling with my Vision Pro for the first time right now. Visually going from being on a Peter Pan bus in traffic to being on top of a mountain in Hawaii with a floating widescreen monitor is magical. I love this 😍

Man, the Annapro 2 #VisionPro Kickstarter delivery's really gone haywire. They haven't posted an update in almost a month, I haven't received it, and they're accidentally sending v1 instead of v2?? And to rub salt in the wound you can now purchase it on Amazon and get it delivered in two days 😑

The last misadventure in getting this over the finish line: On Quest, if you use the microphone without first requesting permission it will ask the user for permission, but will then be in such a horribly broken state that you can't even pull up the system menu or the device restart menu 🫠

200 tickets and nearly 200 pull requests later, @together.online is now officially in private beta on #MetaQuest! 🚀 My first user test on Quest was yesterday with an old friend; it was awesome to actually see his smile when he laughed 😄 Signups are open; come smile, too! together.online/signup
