Species 3 is weird because they basically write out the whole aliens fucking humans to death, and make the "half-breed" offspring have terrible immune system so they die quickly (is that even metaphor?). They do one fucked-to-death but otherwise it's just got some seduction and many gratuitous tits

Play is intrinsically connected to hope, community, and identity. Games are a function of that play that we need in times of darkness. Games ARE political, and have been used as tools of propaganda by colonizers for nearly our entire modern understanding.

I think the core paradox of AI is that it's competent enough at everything look like an expert to a novice, and you have to be pretty knowledgeable in a field to see its shortcomings. No one has that level of knowledge to evaluate every use case themselves, and we're asked to wear a lot of hats.

i guess i’ll post this now and hope i have something to go off in the morning, but — i would like to talk to writers/creatives about where they draw the line when it comes to using AI. is using AI for things like research/fact-checking ok, and if so, what is the point where it goes too far?

Today is Roma Holocaust Memorial Day. Around 500,000 Roma & Sinti people were killed by the Nazis in the Porajmos. There was no state given to them after the war. Commemoration of their suffering is often diminished or forgotten. Racism towards Romani people across Europe remains acceptable.
