#rant Mental health is nowhere to be found this week. My friend’s birthday is next week and I don’t know how to feel about it, which is not fair for them, because they deserve the best and I love them but I feel so shitty that I don’t think I’ll be good company . I might take a break from socmed.

Is fate making fun of us cause My confined wife got intimately assaulted in the hospital. After receiving news from the ward that my wife was in huge distress and does not want to continue treatment anymore, I quickly ran to discharge her prematurely. I feel extremely terrible about this.

This reminded me that a year prior (around 2004) a friend and I were reading an Inuyasha lemon fic in a very local website (not even nation-wide, it was way smaller), and we would talk about every new chapter between classes 😂 That was my first contact with fics, it was such a guilty pleasure hahaha

"executives with no understanding of the industry" seems to be an endemic problem across industries: higher education, medicine, you name it, a bunch of suits with MBAs and unearned arrogance are destroying everything around us, and for some reason, we're supposed to accept that they know best

Then execs with no understanding of the industry confused the production model and the distribution model, and they blew it all up.
