I'm currently reading Swag by Elmore Leonard, and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. The dialogue is good, and the prose, while a bit weird, is mostly fine, but 80 pages in, the characters are very forgettable so far. Before this, I was reading Joseph Hansen, whose writing I vastly preferred.
