You can/should read Emily Wilson's latest take on the Odyssey, but I'm logging on to convey my hairdresser's reaction. She was AGHAST that Nolan, with his million $ budget, gave Matt Damon ONLY 6 hair extensions. As a result, his hair did not blow around properly, & that ruined the film for her.

If women wore smart glasses, they'd be banned. (soigomaa/x) Think about it. If millions of women wore smart glasses, recording men's behaviour, conversations, comments, their driving & bar chats ... can you imagine the panic? Trust me, smart glasses would be regulated before you can say 'Meta'.

People commenting they're flying over a parched English landscape and "isn't it awful" perhaps need to consider cause and effect.

Just name the ones who haven't got a history of violence against women, it'll save time.

I considered writing a long carefully constructed argument laying out the harms and limitations of AI, but instead I wrote about being a hater. Only humans can be haters.

This popped up on my Youtube recommends the other day and I watched it, perplexed, and I said, "I assume this is a reference to a very specific commercial unknown to Americans" and it is, but fortunately they play the actual commercial at the end
