What if the barrier to posting your art on social media wasn't your inability to stay consistent but instead about letting go of expectations or worry of judgement and just allowing yourself to share whatever you want??

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a good drawing tablet that is easily portable? I currently have a Cintiq Pro 24" which I love but is not very easy to bring with me. I was looking at maybe a Wacom Intuos Pro? Or maybe something from Huion? I'm not as familiar with them.

I’ve had a family member encouraging me lately to try selling art at shows/conventions or something? Besides prints what sort of things do people like to buy? And what subject matter?

I’m at home visiting family for the holidays and I stumbled across this old book my cousin had made for me when I was little. It’s about a unicorn taking me back in time to see dinosaurs haha. 🦖🦄

Sometimes we’re unsatisfied with a thing we made because when it only existed in our head, we saw all the things it could have been and when it’s done we know all the things that it isn’t, but we can’t see the way it expands into a million new things when someone else unpacks it in their head. 🖊️🦑

Frustrated little dude gripping a pencil saying “how do I pack this down into something I can actually share?” While swirling rainbows labeled “INFINITE POTENTIAL” float around them.

Little dude frowns at a tiny grey box, exclaiming “all that work for THIS?!”

Little dude shoves the grey box into another little guy’s hands; Frowning, stomping off, and saying “Here you go, I made this, it sucks.”

Second little dude cracks open the box, swirling rainbows project out onto their face.

Second little dude stares in awe at all the swirling rainbows now floating around them.

I recently read somewhere "Don't torture yourself with your thoughts, it's a horrible way to live." and I think that really resonated with me as somebody who gets trapped in anxious thought spirals. I am learning to be kinder to myself, it takes practice. Maybe you could also use a reminder ❤️

It can be incredibly hard to see your progress when recovering from depression or burnout. The whole world keeps demanding certain benchmarks of you to the point that it’s easy to feel like a failure despite your hard work. Remember your progress is your own journey. Every win means something.
