More and more people are doing exactly what you said. The time for believing in [& acting on] man made myths of bygone ignorant goat herders is long past. More & more people are choosing atheism or antitheism. They see how cruel religions make many people terrible. Being kind is a human choice.

Pundits *thrilled* over the supposed "realignment" that had black and brown voters swinging to Trump in meaningful numbers. It was so counterintuitive! And a chance to lecture the left! Turns out the whole thing was as substantial as a fart in a breeze. Pundits were projecting their fantasies.
