Supertall supernerd, I help make some video games and other things. Opinions, personal views and actions taken are my own.
Magic loves all critters, from Fleem to Loot to Jimothy, who has stolen our hearts and lives near our Washington office! In his honor, we're releasing a special Jimothy bundle on MTG Arena and making a $10,000 donation to PAWS, a local charity dedicated to animal welfare.
I’ve been playing Magic for years. My sis takes me to a game store in Helsinki. Their first words were “ohh Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!” and now is finally letting me teach them. My stance on UB is firm and unapologetic.
Seattle's local ren faire is this weekend and you know I gotta make some kind of trading trinket....
More utterly amazing #Zhalfir art just dropped Is that a storm goddess? Look at the blue mage having fun! Knights look SICK! I’m beyond hype for next year!

Mysidian elder in ff4: if you are sure you are done being a fuckup go climb this mountain no one has ever returned from like it says in this weird legend. Here take some children with you, it’s fine, no one lives forever and some not very long at all lol
I hate Ai being used at any point of a production but I cannot understand why people think it sounds better to say that you only used it at the early stages of pre-production. That's the fun bit!! The ideas bit!! The creative bit!! The bit that makes your story YOURS.
Research confirms that the more skilled professionals like doctors and software engineers rely on AI, the more their skills degrade. www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Is AI ruining our skills? Early results are in — and they’re not good

Anyone remember the Christian Reese Lassen artwork on folders and trapper keepers? I had them in middle school, that art was next level.
60% drop in reviews if people even smell AI on your game - full supports the investors, developers, and publishers that took a hard "no gen-AI" stance, despite grifters' proclamations that they were "going to be left behind".
Someone actually crunched the numbers, and using GenAI can decrease reviews for indie game on Steam (a useful proxy stat for sales) by as much as *58%* 🤖
Wow, this 3,400 year-old ancient Egyptian paint box still contains its original pigments! Looks similar to a modern-day set! An inscription tells us it belonged to Amenemope, Vizier during the reign of Amenhotep II. 📷 Cleveland Museum of Art www.clevelandart.org/art/1914.680 #Archaeology
New personal painting. Inspired by the scene in Fantasia that I feel like I’ve built my entire art style and personality around.
being whimsical in the face of everything that wants to turn you into stone is an act of rebellion. proud of u, ya little chaotically whimsical rebellious weirdos
'a new study shows that since 2010 the world has been gaining more mangroves than it has been losing - driven by stronger legal protections and increased public awareness of their importance, sparked by disasters such as the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.' 1/2
Mangrove forests are healing after decades of human destruction
Swampy mangrove forests are staging a surprise comeback - which is good news for coastal communities and the climate.

Mother nature is an artist, the sky is her canvas. Here's a few of my favorite pieces she's revealed to me so far this year. #photography
“We, the creators of the Torment Nexus, are now suing the writers of the classic science fiction novel ‘Don’t Create the Torment Nexus.’”
Big tech corporations have finally figured out who is to blame for their crappy products: science fiction writers.
