The most influential cable tv channel of all time is the Food Network and I’m so serious.
Gen X and millennial hipster craft gastronomy genuinely changed the world.
Doing my Patriotic Chore™️, and lmfao the number of times this red stamp has saved my dumb ass.
Brother, you had better believe we’re running a Double Wing formation.
This rocks idc
i'm not a huge fan of how everything is either literally or metaphorically on fire.
Just an exhausting team to follow. Please trade George Kirby to a team that will hold a lead for him.
Listen, Josh Naylor is not having a good season, but he is having a “just fine” season. And he is a really cool guy and I’m glad he’s on the team.
Obsessed with Henry, today’s honorary Mariner at first base, who showed up in full Steelheads uniform with some sick cleats, much to the delight of Josh Naylor
I’m old enough where I can feel in my knees and elbows that George Kirby is getting traded today.
the death of brick and mortar retail has my kids way too interested in Going Somewhere. They don't have any fear that one of us picking up our keys might mean they're going to TJ Maxx, where they'll have to stand quietly for an hour while I talk to someone I know who also happened to be there.
You can argue, for reasons that were and were not within his control, few starting pitchers have done more to help the Seattle Mariners than Luis Castillo.
Que Viva, La Piedra
I always knew Paxton was a big time fraud guy but I only recently learned it was this egregious.
𝗩𝗜𝗕𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞: Indignant Ken Paxton's ownership of 15 real estate properties valued at $9 million, including a Hawaii mansion, is questioned given his $153,000 government salary.
What they don’t tell you about time travel is you can’t just go anywhere you want, you can’t go back and kill Hitler or Genghis Khan or see a Dinosaur. You can literally only go back to a random weeknight between 1988 and 2003 and the only thing you can do while you’re there is call Art Bell.
This thought is a month late but: People who performativly hate soccer “because of all the flopping” don’t bat an eye when a catcher tries framing a pitch that was in the dirt.
Odyssey this. Odyssey that. We Odyssey ICE abolished.
The Mariners seem like one of the most cautious organizations with pitcher injuries and I’m glad for it because there aren’t a ton of guys getting Tommy John, but it does often leave our bullpen thin and it’s kind of annoying.
Many people are talking about ROB! and you’re hearing it more and more!
ROOOOOOOOOBBBBBBBBBBBB
@uwebollocks.bsky.social a while ago on the other site you made a comment about how “Tough Enough” by the Fabulous Thunderbirds was a bad song and now every time I hear it, I can’t help but think how right you were. That song sucks ass.
Turned on the Mariners game on the radio when Rob Refsnyder came up to bat and audibly yelped ROB! when he was announced.
I remember talking to a (normal)Cardinals Fan before the season about Brenden Donovan and he said “Oh, when he’s on the field he’s a real difference maker, it’s just that’s basically never.”
Quit telling me what dead men said about a world I have never lived in.
I know we say this all the time in the back third of the summer but that series felt like the season. Uninspired and really sloppy play.
I’m trying to decide if it would be funnier for Dan Wilson to get fired BEFORE the “50 Greatest Mariners” event on 8/8 or immediately after.
Groggily, you wake up, opening your eyes to see sunlight on spring leaves. You blink and stretch the young muscles of a spotted fawn. “Data centers”? “Explosive diarrhea”? The memories fade quickly, it was all a dream. Your mother licks your brow affectionately. Oh look, jewelweed, your favorite.
Nathan Fiedler: Time is a flat circle. To test this, we visited the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva, Switzerland Tim Robinson:[off camera]: WHAT DA FUCK!?!?!?
It’s been 90 degrees in Seattle for the past 3 days, I’m at the park and the cooler weather is just starting to roll in and it’s so nice. Good golly, what a wonderful feeling.
