What happened at Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc is beyond disturbing. A masked group arrived on the Nation’s land displaying hateful signs targeting the children who never came home from residential schools. There must be a full investigation to hold those responsible accountable.

Rising residential school denialism and anti-Indigenous racism have created an environment where white supremacists feel emboldened to target and intimidate First Nations in their communities. It’s disgusting and completely unacceptable.

I wish there was a summary of all the Halifax BALs that were voted on after a day of deliberations and who voted on what. Maybe I'll take a kick at that, if it's not already being done.
