For me, Super Metroid. I remember shooting the wall and being mesmerized by the visual effects of it! But as I was studying in prep school, Ristar left a lasting impression on me! The character design, music and graphics blew me away, even decades after the game was released.

I think a lot of liberals and democrats have such an alienated view of trans folks that they see us as “really” our assigned gender, and think that they’re humoring or being polite to disabled or mentally ill folks when they use our pronouns or our names. They see it as kindness, politeness.
