Not me turning to chatty g to write a script because the documentation for the new version is so non-existent and all the function names have changed. So are we not writing documentation anymore because we don't need it? We're not even asking the machines to do it?

Trying to find the location of a former plantation in Mississippi and instead found this fallen over plaque indicating the presence of an Indian mound and an African-American burial site on top. Could be a good image for a 250th publication!

A screencap from Google Maps of the entry for the Johnson Cemetery Mound plaque in Mississippi. In the street view, the plaque has fallen on the ground. The plaque reads "The Johnson Cemetery site currently consists of a single mound and associated village, but may originally have had second mound. The existing mound is 12 feet in height and was most likely pyramidal in shape, though its dimensions have suffered from erosion. Archacologists have determined that the mound was built in stages by Native Americans during the Mississippi Period, ca. AD 1200-1600. Johnson Cemetery, a 20th-century African American cemetery, is located on the mound's summit."

every gardener i follow is going absolutely hogwild flexing that they eat lettuce from behind their house. i've never seen gardeners act like this in my life. this is our super bowl. this is our olympics. gold medal in shitting normally

Ohhhhh it's finally dawning on me that it will be my job to translate the impending accessibility guidelines to my master gardener group that still doesn't really want to use gdrive.

I've been having a hard time accepting the passage of time, but I've also been working on an article about work that I did ten years ago and yeah no that was a long time ago I remember nothing.

Looking forward to running a pre-conf workshop at Envisioning DH at your Teaching-Focused Institution! There's more seats if you want to join us for some reflective conversation about where we're at and where we want to go.
